I am Max Proude. VFX Artist by day, Asset Store publisher by night, I try to make effects look awesome. I’ve worked on titles such as Assassin’s Creed: Identity and Gwent: The witcher card game, all while developing and publishing games, effects and tools on the Asset Store: Ultimate Ray Designer, Ultimate Fog of War and another one in the making. I would describe myself as a Unity generalist, but active only as a VFX/ Tech artist with focus on visuals. Things I can’t do at work, I usually prototype at home in my spare time and turn them into Asset Store assets for everyone to enjoy.
Ultimate Ray Designer is a simple but effective tool to create and animate lines and curves in your game.
Ultimate Fog of War is a complete Fog of War soultion for realtime strategy games, Moba’s and any game the requires Fog of War. It supports height blocking, tall grass, any geometry and also simple to integrate.
Ultimate GPU Particles is a work in progress GPU particle system, that does not use Compute Shaders. It can run on mobile devices, that support floating point precision render targets and does what usual Particle Systems do, but on the GPU and with massive massive quantities.
After joining my latest adventure (Wooga in Berlin), I started working on highly polished F2P mobile games such as Tropicats, June’s Journey, Bubble Island and other unannounced games.
